Snow realityNo overselling
Same honest deal as Nanshan: man-made snow on a small suburban hill, and even smaller terrain. The reason to come is the night session — well-lit, open to 10pm, and a genuinely fun evening out if you're staying in north Beijing. Tickets are sold by time blocks (2–8 hours), which suits an after-dinner ski perfectly. Daytime, Nanshan is the better hill.
Come here for
- ✓Evening skiing after a Beijing workday or sightseeing day
- ✓North-Beijing convenience (Changping, near the Ming Tombs)
- ✓Beginners on a budget — timed tickets keep it cheap
Skip it if
A full ski day — 4 km of runs is an evening's entertainment, not a day's.
Getting there
~45 min drive from central Beijing (Changping district); reachable by subway Changping line + short taxi.
Where to stay
Day/evening trip from Beijing — no reason to stay out here.
How tickets actually get bought
WeChat mini-program and Meituan, sold in 2–8 hr blocks; night session is a separate ticket.
